The Staff are helpful and fast in assisting our request despite its main hotel Europe was shut down due to low season and only minimal staff were on duty during our staying period. The one bedroom apartment we stayed was very cozy and comfortable in a very central location.The supermarket, cafe and restaurants are all within very short walking distance. What impressed me the most was where we paid chf20 daily for the dog and they actually prepared the separate clean towels set ,blanket and the .
all reviews » The staff at the Hotel Europe were very accommodating in trying to make up for the shortcomings of the Apartments. The room was ok - it was spacious, clean and relatively comfortable but I was on a working holiday and could not get the wifi to work the first night. They ended up moving us to the Hotel Europe for the second night. Also, you need to go to the Hotel first unless you call or email after booking and then they will tell you what room you are in and that the door is already open with . I liked absolutely everything. I sat on my balcony each morning with my coffee and an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The apartment was large, well furnished, and quiet. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I also had a massage and a sheep whey bath at the main hotel that was absolutely divine. If you want an apartment, the Chalet Annelis is the place. If you want a hotel, then their hotel is the Hotel Europe and Spa - you want that!. The apartment was spacious and well set out for a family of 4, but up-to 6 would still be ok. 2 bathrooms was a nice change. Views of the Matterhorn from the living room was spectacular. Location to the town centre was an easy 2 minute walk. The station was 4 minutes at most. Very impressed with every aspect. Beautiful apartments. Loved the apartment and the apartment 302 had magnificent view of the Matterhorn from the living room and balcony. Good location that is near to all main amenities without having to walk up hill. Everything - From location to accommodations, everything about this place was superb. Staff was very friendly. The studio exceeded expectations. It was large, clean, bright and well equipped. Perfect for our vacation. Clean, good kitchen material, well located. Organization was very good. Convenient location; close to mountain railways to reach the summit quickly, bus stop, bakers, resort centre all a short walk away. Split level apartment allowed a certain degree of space and privacy with separate double bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Maybe they should do a maintenance check on the door knobs as some started to get lose. A Nespresso or Delizio coffe machine will be a plus point as many modern holiday apartments in Zermatt also provide that now. We could not find any kettle in the kitchen during our stay , maybe its good to provide one which is very useful . However, those are minor plus to propose to make this apartment even better！（Better improvement proposals rather than something I don't like ). I would not stay here again but I would happily stay at the Hotel Europe which owns these apartments. If they fixed the wifi and made check-in easier, I would consider changing my mind... Nothing. The weather wasn't very good, but there wasn't anything they could do about that, but they did provide ideas of things for me to do and places to go during inclement weather. Nothing. Hotel Europe manages the apartment, and they were beryl helpful at all times. Nothing. Hotel ask you to visit Hotel Europe, 5 minutes by foot ,to make payments during your stay though they will not welcome you at apartment. No microwave. No exchange of linen. All information you need is on the signboard at the entrance PLUS(not or) on the table of your room ,and kitchen. I wonder why they leave information separately. extra fee charged for refreshing of towels. Difficult to find the room! As there is no staff at this location you are on your own to find the entrance to your room. After walking around the place and going back to the bulletin board twice we finally figured out that we had to go outside, up a hill and in a door.....my advice- read everything on the bulletin board. Also- there is no elevator. Minor things, a microwave would be handy as would a washing machine in the apartment and a toaster. There is nothing that I didn't like. Leaving. Free Wifi had very poor signal and could not be used in principle. Would have liked a cleaning pack to be made available in the apartment insteady of having to buy locally or bring with you.
