Friendly,helpful staff,good breakfast,good location to all transport links.Room cleaned every day and bedding changed mid week. Excellent heating. The area, especially the views. The cable car was superb. The staff all speak good english. Parking was not a problem. Hotel is local to trains and buses. Friendly family run hotel. Lovely room and bathroom. Convenient for the town centre and railway up the mountain.

The restaurant will operate until September 2009. From 14 September the hotel will only provide bed and breakfast. The lounge in the restaurant will serve as a living area for hotel guests. Drinks will be served until 19:00. Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:00.

By Train
Airports with easy access.
-Direct train from Geneva (more or less 1 and a half hour) to Aigle.
-Direct train from Zürich (more or less 3 and a half hours) and change in Lausanne to Aigle.

Aigle is the nearest station from Villars, you can catch some taxis or the public bus. The bus stops in front of the hotel.
