We liked the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the place. It was very hot the week we stayed and without asking, the owner supplied a sheet to cover the comfortable bed instead of a duvet. prepared the breakfast every morning was very nice and friendly to me.
The hotel isn't 5 stars, but it is clean and has its own bathroom not sharing. It is very near to the town, shopping and train station of Biel/Bienne. Plus Nikolla also loan me a bicycle to ride around town. At a very reasonable price, plus good service and free bicycle loan what more can one ask. I stayed here for three nights and as several other guests have mentionned, the location is great. Bern old town is walkable so no need for public transportation. The free WiFi worked very well and the shared bathrooms were clean and always available. Did not eat the included in the price breakfast so I have no comments on that. An orchestra played downstairs quite loud (nice music!) but not too late so no problems to sleep. I will come back here next time I spend some days in Switzerland's cap
