If it offers lower rates, the hotel obviously can't offer super everything but the things that were important to me - clean, newish bathroom, comfortable bed, good (continental) breakfast and fast free wifi in the rooms were all there. - Key system was different and nice.   I stayed here because the other hotels were outrageously expensive during the week in Geneva and there were 2 UN conferences so much was booked out. It turned out to be fine. I booked a double room, as that was all that was available, and thus had actually a corner room with 3 windows and plenty of space. The hotel is plain and functional. It was... what people say » ok as I was there for 2 nights on business and just needed a bed and a clean place to stay. The location near the train station is excellent so easy - The location is very central. Close to the lake, so with just a few steps, you can have a fantastic view of the lake. Price is a value for money (considering how Switzerland is very expensive) because the room is very comfortable to stay in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do ask them for a city bus pass cause that helped us a lot!

I stayed for a business trip and found the staff very helpful and accomodating - loaned me an umbrella, etc. Continental breakfast was also very nice, with fresh croissants and a good selection.
