  Hotel Magic is run by the people at Hotel Krone who are extremely nice and have an excellent breakfast spread. Second time I've stayed at Magic. Kind of fun even though some of the rooms don't have the greatest view, however some are great. Clean and private.Overall 8.5/10. - Very individual hotel and great location to see everything in Luzern!

  The location is just brilliant: a nice pedestrian square just a short walk away from the train station and within walking distance from all the main activities in the city. The room was not too big but comfortable, with complimentary coffee and tea. The toilet is actually nice and modern.   Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. The breakfast at Monopol was great and was included with the room, which was a nice change from the other hotels billing me for everything I even thought ... what people say » about eating or drinking. I got a very good rate on my stay and the hotel room was clean and the hotel itself was very pleasant and had a lot of char - friendly and efficiently staff. Best location next to the main station. A few minutes to the old city. Breakfast is very good. Wide range of English television channel. Very quite room in spite of close to main road and station. Good supermarket nearby. Right opposite to Business School Of Luzern. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!). We plan to stay here again.

  Having stayed at the hotel previously and arriving very late in the evening the night porter was very efficient and the need to register on arrival was not necessary as details were available from the last visit. The hotel is clean and very hospitable and I would recommend it and will certainly return to the hotel next time I vist Lucerne. - Good ... what people say » location - right next to the Hauptbahnhof and very near to Kapellbrucke.   We appreciated that we were able to check into our room early following an overseas flight. The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. Our room was spacious enough, and there was a fan.
