This family run B&B is an amazing place to stay at right in the heart of Basel. It located just a few minutes with the tram to the center and the main train station, also perfectly doable distance for walking to the main tourist attractions. Great breakfast in the kitchen which gives to your stay a family atmosphere! I absolutely enjoyed it. T

I liked the house, and the way it is kept clean and tidy. All the necessary little things like hair-drier, iron, interchangeable plug, coffee, and toaster were there. Tram line 6 stop is just in a minute walking. You can here trams passing by till 2 am, but it didn't stop me from sleeping, Actually, it was very convenient for me, since tram 6 goes directly to the Congress center at Messeplatz.

I highly recommend staying at Amparo's, the hosts were really friendly and helpful providing good info on what to do and how to get around Basel. I was given a mobility/tram card to use during my stay in Basel which was really helpful.
There are only two rooms sharing one bathroom and I was lucky enough to have the whole apartment to myself for a couple of days. There is a full kitchen for meals and a great deck and garden to enjoy summer mornings/evenings making it feel more like a home away f

The opportunity to see Basel as a first timer, recognising that it has been many years that one had been abroad to Europe.
Isabelle was an amazing host who was willing to help out in giving advise to what buses and trams would be ideal to catch in order to get around Basel. Also, she had documents, which the tourist information would provide, at the accommodation and therefore have been an extremely great help for me.

We liked very much the layout of the B&B. The kitchen had everything you could need and the children were delighted to find satellite TV in their bedroom. Rooms were clean and tidy.
