the view from our balcony was stunning. the room though small was really neat and kept well for the guests.
there is a restaurant in the hotel, and served good food too. outside hotels there are lots of shops and restaurants, if u just want to explore grindelwald this is a perfect place, and its a value for money too.

We loved the location, just across from the station and central to everything.
As 2 couples, we had the adjoining rooms with shared bathroom between rooms. This worked very well as each bed room had its own hand basin.
Included buffet b/fast was excellent offering a good variety including scrabbled eggs, bacon and lovely fresh bread. We also enjoyed the meals in the downstairs restaurant, where the staff were very friendly.
Big bonus, it has an elevator.

The hotel is run by a very friendly elderly couple. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Super nice. The lady of the house speaks excellent english.
Skibus just on the corner, otherwise just drive down 5 min to the big parking at the lift and pay 5 CHF for the whole day.

The original room was very nice however the room offered for the last night (which was requested after the booking) was not very nice and we checked out on that day instead of staying. The hotel was nice and didn't charge us. However I think they should have told us that the room wasn't very nice before offering it for the same price as the other

A good hotel close to the station with quick access to the ski area and in the centre of the town close to the buss station so quick access to the ski buses. A good swiss style breakfast with plenty of choice. - The hotel was very comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were suitable and well furnished. Breakfast was very good.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very well taken care. As the hotel was in the best location in town, we had excellent connections to trains and buses. We will for sure come back to Bernerhof. - The view was fantastic on our private patio! The bed was the most comfortable bed we had in Switzerland.

Memorable stay. Beautiful location. Good breakfast. Clean rooms. We will surely be coming again. As a note of info but not criticism, it is for people who wish to stay away from the hustle bustle of touristy activities and who are ready to trek or drive upto this place. The place has not got any elevator so be careful to limit the baggage numbers

Gasthof Panorama really does justify its name. Each morning we ate our breakfast looking out on a beatiful range of snow covered mountains. Our room was simple but spacious with good facilities and a comfortable large double bed. It was wisper quiet. The lady owner was friendly and very helpful. It was our favourite stop of this holiday.
