Was happy with our check in, the fellow was prompt and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful! Everything is new and spotlessly clean, however, our room was on a floor that was being renovated, and it was quite noisy. We did not have air con, and therefore needed the windows open, where there was a lot of outside noise. But once the window was closed, it was fine. Upon check out, the front of house person was away from the desk for over fifteen minutes! So that was a bit frustrating. Others also .

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a lot of variety. I could walk to the train station and restaurants and the tram was so close. I loved this hotel and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend F6 Design Hotel!. It is a cute, little hotel 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The design and furniture are new, with the efficient way of using the not too big room space. The room had a tea tray, which was convenient. The staff was very nice and helpful: when it turned out we would have to miss breakfast to be in the airport on time, we got a bunch of food to go. We stayed just 1 night so it was a short stay to fully evaluate all services/facilities but in short we were satisfied. Staff is polite, helpful and responsive to request/demands. Hotel facilities are good, breakfast is OK, upon arrival passes for the Geneva public transport are given. Overall good value for money in Geneva. Really helpfull staff. Had to bug them a bit (because they were fully booked), but got the late checkout on the marathon day, which was really important to me and nice of them. It also had air conditioning which most places at which I stayed did not. And, it was in a quiet neighborhood, off the main street of town, but not far from the train station. The hotel is located one metro stop away from the train station. It is only about a ten minute walk from the lake and three metro stops away from the united nations. Very clean. The lift was being renovated when we arrived so we had to climb three stories with our luggage, but the staff offered to help and the next day the lift was working, so it didn't ruin our stay. The rate I booked was different from the rate I paid (about 10 Euro more), as you pay in the CHF-Euro exchange rate on the date of check-out. I didn't like that: the rate should have been fixed on booking. Decorators still working on stairways - but always tidy!. parking place maybe too much. Nothing. The reception is up stairs.It's a little for the tourist who 1st living there. The milk that seems to be soja, was awfull!. A little mixup with credit card. Hotel wanted to pre authorise money for a whole stay a day before I checked in, instead of pre-authorizing for a first night only, what I believe is a normal procedure. Nothing actually... Just an advice if you need an iron ask for it in advance. The size of the pillows (too thick, and it's always the same problem in hotels) The location (you can't open your curtains without having people stair in the room. It's too close to other buildings) The size of the TV (too big and close to the bed) The fact that you have the news on while eating (it's annoying and every hotel on the planet does that. Think out of the box) Why not play a concert or have a show on Geneva attractions,... Too expensive. But this is Swizerland/. No restaurant / in room dining, but pizzeria and other restaurants close by. the breakfast: no fresh fruit, cold eggs only; renovation works every day as from 07:30 in the morning: much noise, restricted space for moving in the corridor, no excuse or compensation from the management; building site in the neighbourhood. I didn't like the noise which was due to the gotel renovation. Nothing!. Small and very compact room. Can add shoe polish, comb ,shaving materials ,iron box and one big letter pad in addition to the other items. Rain on the Sunday which is out of your control :(. Overpriced. Staff a bit stiff. would have liked a bath instead of a shower. small elevator and reception/lobby area, low ceilings. Tiny lounge. Cleaning staff could be a little more quiet in the morning. not applicable. a bit pricey. No view. A bit of a walk to the main sites in Geneva. no room service but take away was ok.
