I am never this generous with my comments but, actually everything! I had a fantastic time last weekend. I am sure all the staff are good but most of my dealings happened to be with Heidi, she was friendly and professional, gave us correct information and was helpful with any of our needs; she has a charming personality. Paula, the masseuse, is very good and when asked, acted on my wishes. And having a glass of bubbly in the Jacuzzi on the terrace under the stars, was lush! The jacuzzi is proba.
all reviews » Young reception and breakfast staff were so lovely. We were on the top floor in a lovely timber-lined room and we could hear cow bells from the balcony. Views of the mountains. Lift only went to the floor below so we had to climb a set of stairs with suitcases to get to the room. Free parking at the back of the hotel was great. My husband and daughter went up the cable car to the top of the mountain. The owners and staff were extremely helpful and interested in making my stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel was very clean and well-kept, with a good ski room and boot-drying rack for skiers. The bus stops for the ski bus are located directly outside the hotel building, which was very convenient for getting to the lifts and back each day. staffs are friendly and helpful, they're very nice to my child. they also prepared water and chocolates when checked in. excellent place, 5 minutes walking distance to the tram station. mountain view from the room windows. there is also spa available, but we don't have time to try it. free parking and wifi. Brilliantly friendly and comfortable boutique hotel in a superb setting. Really felt at home and just so relaxing. Beautiful place for skiing and mountain. Great place Engelberg and the hotel very close to train and gondola stations. Loved the week there. Location of the hotel is good, 10 min walk from the Engelberg train station. Construction work adjacent to hotel , starting at 7am , although did not bother me to much as room on opposite side and normally ready for breakfast by then. Expensive because of current exchange rate. Loud construction next door. The Lift does not go to the Top Floor Not very flexible on check out timing even if hotel is empty.
