  The host Peter was very friendly and met us at the station and even offered us a lift despite the fact that the hotel is not more than 5 mins of walking. The appartments were good with a descent kitchen. The location is 5 - 10 mins by bus form Interlaken which is really close.   The hotel is in a spectacular position near Interlaken with views of the lake and the snow topped alps. The room we had was superb, very spacious and had great views. The staff were very friendly and attentive. It's our 41st anniversary year of celebration and it was the perfect choice that my daughter made for us. I love the view of the lake along with awesome breakfast served. We were given excellent reception on arrival and guided so well by the staff. We have enjoyed so much that choosing Switzerland as the last country of visit during the other countries we visited in this same tour was the PERFECT CHOICE to end it with Switzerland and Neuhaus Golf- & Strandhotel.   This was a wonderful hotel. The hotel was small enough to ensure that every guest had a personalised experience but big enough to offer all the required facilities like a fabulous restaruant. The hosts Jacqui and Bernard and their staff went out of their way to make sure every guest had everything they wanted. The views from every room were amaz... what people say » ing! We definitely want to return again. - Nearly everything! The owners welcomed us personally the first day there...and maintained their interest in our well-being throughout our 1-week stay. The location is outstanding for views of the Alps and being away from the crowds of Interlaken. The room was very large and very clean. We would stay here again without hesitation during any future visits to the area.

We stayed in the AlpenRose Haus and our veiw of the lakes and mountains were stunning. The hotel is the most kid friendly we have stayed at in our 5 years of living in Europe. We had a toddler bed set up on arrival and a kiddie bath kit with toys and a duck body cloth. And the price was amazing. Thank you.

  Friendly family run small hotel. Good view of lake from dinning room and can swin near the pier down hill, about 5 mins walk. Few minutes drive from downtown Interlaken but the room price is more reasonable than other hotel. Breakfast is sufficient and juice and coffee always got refilled. I stayed in a 4 persons room and is good size. Some of their - The Price is low, therefore we didn't expect luxury. However: Friendly owner, spacious room with view to the lake, free WIFI working also in room. We've taken supper in the Restaurant which was very good, breakfast also ok. Distance to Interlaken is no problem, bus every 30 minutes (no bus in the evening)

  Just the view from the terrace of our room was worth the trip. The Thun lake below and the Jungfrau complex in front. Amazing!. The room was simple but large and clean. Free parking and free WIFI but since thick walls in the room there was good signal in the corridor out of the door. FYI: It's located within the Dorint hotel. Great views from the balcony. Fine for what we were looking for -- base for hikes in the area.
