The hotel is a stones throw away from the messe and a tram station that gives you easy access to the old city. The hotel is clean, functional and the staff is very accomodating and friendly. The restaurant has a nice Swiss menu, complemented with a more European selection. The quality and price are certainly competitive with other food places in this area of Basel. Don't forget that the hotel will offer you a free public transport card which is valid during your stay and will allow you to trave.

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Basel city centre. The rooms are clean and cosy, WiFi is fast, breakfast is moderate. They have a private garage for parking but he price is a bit expensive. Due to the location of the hotel there some noise is to be expected. 1. when I got there, the hotel was under construction, so there was noise cause of breaking some wall. (I think it will become calm after construction) 2. there was small problem for electricity but it was solved. Everything was all right. nothing!!. Nothing, it was a good stay and I would use the hotel again. Some services in the room were not working, but for a short stay it's perfect!. Pervasive smell of spices throughout hotel. poor breakfast. This hotel is really noisy. Doors are really thin. nothing. Breakfast items were limited and routine as we stayed for Six days. The hotel room was O.K., clean but there were things that need to be fixed like taps that are not well working or open electrical outlet. The carpet in the corridor appears very old as well as the doors and walls outsite the rooms. The hotel needs refection, but the price reduction offered compensates for this. I found a nail on the floor. It's a very noisy hotel. The bathroom is very small. This hotel and rooms needs absolutely refurbishement: Equipment, painting, Dining room: flyes coming on your meal! How many in the kitchen then?.
