Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing.
You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops?
Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking.
If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.
Breakfast was plentyful and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

Old-fashioned hotel in a good meaning of such term.Well preserved atmosphere of peaceful old times gone by. The stay was comfortable, especially as I got bigger room than ortiginally booked. The location of the hotel was good, the ABBA Museum is in the same building in the basement. The Vasa Museum and the Nordisk Museum sa well sa Scancen are very close.
You can take the Hop on Hop off bus to see the central Stockholm - the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is very small.

Excellent choice and quality for breakfast, comfy beds, nicely hot water in shower, really helpful reception staff including stocking SL access card (which you must have before using public transport). Quiet location only 10 minute tram ride to city centre. Great view from restaurant.

I booked the "small room" which was offered at a very reasonable rate and was delighted with the room, whilst it was smaller than the normal rooms due to a very good design it still felt spacious and luxurious. The gym which Berns guests can use at the grand hotel was also excellent and a real treat to use. Excellent location and friendly staff. -
