The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling.
I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple.
I would definitely wish to stay in this hostel again when visiting Stockholm next time!

Location was the main attraction for me towards this hostel. Located right in Old Town, you're right in the center of Stockholm. In addition, this is not a traditional hostel. This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'. For those who do not like walking though, the Gamla Stan station is only 3' walk from the Old Town Lodge. I would definitely recommend it and if I ever go back I would s

Great location: the rooms with the river view (ask for them!) have an amazing and romantic view on the Old City (Gamla Stan). Location is perfect to explore the city. We tried the standard twin-Hostel cabin: small as expected (it's a boat!) but still very comfortable and very clean. The shared bathrooms and showers are in good number, big and super-clean: never needed to wait in 5 days!
Common kitchen very functional, clean and with great view as well!
