We were celebrating a 60th birthday, so wished to have a hotel near the centre, which was comfortable and if required use of the restaurant.

Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing.
You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops?
Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking.
If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.
Breakfast was plentyful and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

Excellent choice and quality for breakfast, comfy beds, nicely hot water in shower, really helpful reception staff including stocking SL access card (which you must have before using public transport). Quiet location only 10 minute tram ride to city centre. Great view from restaurant.

Great price and value! Very good quality hotel room. Clean and comfortable. We slept very well after long days in the city sightseeing. We got a Studio room and it was generous in size and had everything we needed for three nights stay. The rooms were sound proofed and we were never disturbed. The breakfast was simple, good and had a nice selection for everyone. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. The restaurant nearby Funkalistic was wonderful and came recommended

The location, only 5-10minutes walk to the royral palace, and to hop on, hop off boat, walking distance to the old town, quiet area, nice staff, room space (double) is quite big, compared with other hotel. if you just want to go to the Skansen park, Vasa, old town, city hall and royral palace, then you don't need to buy the ticket for train, just hop on hop off boat is enough!
