Close to beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice swimming pool. Rooms clean and tidy. The manager is nice. Location is good. Close to the beach, kindly staff. It is quit close to beach. The hotel description is a bit cocky, far from being elegant, or modern (or having a private balcony, for that matter, in the case of our room), the rooms are quite modest in appearance, but provided with the bare necessities in Sri Lanka: AC, ceiling fan, mini-fridge and shower (with very poor water pressure). And what it's not, is an hour's drive from Colombo. Time on the road measures on a very different scale in Sri Lanka.
