Everything was perfect, right from the airport pick up to the trip back to the airport, (all free of charge) Cannot find any fault with this hotel, it really is a little oasis a short drive from the airport, perfect for transit passengers. We will use this hotel in the future for a longer stay. The Chef took the time to talk me through the food that was safe for me to eat, I have serious allergies, cannot fault anything.
all reviews » This hotel is very very close to Airport and it is ideal to have a some big rest, who will fly about 12 to 14 hours from Sri lanka to Europe. and the super market and restaurant are around, you can manage your budget even. resturant had very good selection of food. rooms were clean. upgraded us to a suite as we had an older children. Great hotel and close to the airport. Friendly staff and some of the best food I had on holiday. 1. Very clean and comfortable 2. Good food 3. Excellent location to the airport. The one day room charges is with out breakfast. when you booked the hotel by on-line. This is some inconvenienced to customer. the salon staff were not the best. 1.Took payment 6-7 weeks before staying, without our knowledge or consent 2. Were charged extra payment for the room on leaving, only £2-3, they couldn't explain why, just that it was the balance. We could only assume it was the difference in exchange from when they took the original monies. 3. We had taken our own cases when departing, but once the taxi arrived, 2 members of staff rushed and took them (10 steps away) and very obviously lingered around us waiting to be tipped!. Charged for wi-fi (all other hotels in sri lanka have free wi-fi however small they were!!!), Buffets were pricey but only compared to other sri lankan hotels. Internet wifi is charged. Expensive breakfast. The hotel is very Muslim oriented. We didn't have a problem with that, but they seemed to have a problem with us. We wanted to book the hotel also in the way back from the Maldives islands and they claimed the hotel is overbooked, although online we saw it wasn'T. When we confronted them about it they said our money is welcome in their hotel, but they knew exactly what we are talking about. This was a very bad feeling.
