We spent two nights at the hotel. The staff were helpful and the service was very good. Basic but clean rooms. The wi-fi was working well in the room. The food is also quite good. Breakfast is standard issue fare in Sri Lankan B&Bs (toast/eggs/fresh juice/tea/fruits) but on the second night we had an enjoyable Sri Lankan curry dinner. -

I find it difficult to reconcile the few negative reviews with the
experience we had. If there is a friendlier, more helpful host in all of
Sri Lanka then I look forward to meeting them. Nothing was too much
trouble. This guesthouse is in a great location (just a 15min pleasant
walk along the lake to the Temple of the Tooth), and in a quiet area.

A wonderful place to stay during your visit to Kandy and the surrounding area. The property is located within a 5 minute walk to the lake and about 10 -15 minute walk to the Temple of the Tooth Relic which is one of the main attractions in Kandy.
The owner (Shanani) and her team are charming and offer excellent customer service to all the guests.
The food - both breakfast and the evening meal are truly authentic Sri Lankan and I would recommend any guest to book the half board offer. I c

Facilities are modern, while there were some problems with the wifi connectivity, everything else was pretty good. Location was great as it was close to the Kandy lake, you could walk back easily after the daily punja at the Temple of the Tooth. All in all, a good place to stay in Kandy.
