Aditya was one of our favourite hotels during our travels around Sri Lanka. It has lovely large rooms, beautiful design, great beach location, and not very big -- nice boutique hotel. It's proximity to Galle made it easy to travel there and back as with young kids we didn't want to do Galle all in one day.

  I had stayed with my husband at tandem guest house for 2 days. I must say that I completely enjoyed my stay. The rooms were super clean with clean bedsheets, so were the bathrooms. A member of the Villa Tara staff had been waiting for us from the main street all day to guide us up the gorgeous windy village track, across the local railway line, to the most beautiful hidden villa on this little off street path. We were escorted around the Vi - The staff was very friendly. The manager was a very nice guy that took time to explain many places to go during my stay in Sri Lanka and gave me the map that he had hanging on the wall in his quarters . The night air was cool and very quiet. You can just barely hear the sea. If you lay at night you will see fruit bats flying above head, and the tranquil sound of nature buzzing.

  Beautiful setting, comfy and very clean. Pool just as clean. Lovely, friendly staff especially the manager Chandama who was delightful. Delicious breakfast - wish we'd stayed for dinner. Easy access to Hikkaduwa but much much nicer area. Not luxurious but lovely.

We asked for Ananda to get us fish and sea food and we had two amazing meals of jumbo prawns crab and para fish .   The location was excellent. Calmer part of the beach. We stayed in a Deluxe ocean front room and had a beautiful view. Very friendly and helpful staff. 15 minute walk from the train station or a 150 lkr tuk- tuk ride. The buffet breakfasts were very impressive, western options as well as some Sri Lankan options. We had our first snorkeling experience and it was truly amazing what we saw, including sea turtles and hundreds of different fish species. Do not miss that!   Three days at Nippon Villa was a quite pleasant experience. The location and the sea view was ideal. Swimming pool is like an extension of the sea. Very helpful and courteous staff.
