Zaragoza Hotels

The hotel is very stylish and the rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. You couldn't have a better location in Zaragoza as its less than 5 minutes walk to the Basillica, about 30 minutes to Aljaferia and 20 minutes to the main museum. Loads of great bars and restaurants pretty much on your doorstep. We found the staff to be friendly and very helpful. I know some reviews have mentioned noise as the area is lively at night- but we were on the third floor and really didn't notice it. - John

Second time in the lovely city that is Zaragoza. Picked Hotel Goya because of the location. Arrived to find a historical re-creation of some battle with Napoleon happening in the main street not 50 yards down the road - hilarious, fun and loud. Room was decent size and clean. Hotel staff were friendly. Hotel is quiet and well run. Having stayed in the 5 star Palafox in Zaragoza I was expecting similar, just at the 4 star level (it was considerably cheaper). My boyfriend and me got an offer of a website to book in this hotel a junior suite for a weekend and it was wonderful!! Extra-big room with a king size bed, a desk and a big sofa. Bathroom with a shower and a hydromassage bathtub!! Breakfast served in the room was included! Location: Very well located near the old city center, all the interesting topics and commercial center in a walkable distance! We would recommend this hotel for sure!!! I stayed one night here for a business trip in June. My first impression was that it was very tastefully decorated - as you would expect for a 5 star. Lots of beige stone/marble, dark wood and soft lighting. The kind of place where you start to talk quieter and walk slower. Hard to imagine kids running amok in the place. The corridors and rooms are very nicely decorated. The price was relatively low, € 125 per night, but then again you can get a 3 course lunch in the main plaza for about €8 s - Stephen

Bottom Line up Front: The only thing keeping me from giving this hotel an overall rating of "5" was the room temperature (which I and seemingly nobody else could control). Allegedly the front desk can change your room temperature upon request. After 3 days of requesting my room temp. be set a few days cooler, I gave up. Either they were saving money on electricity or there was a mechanical problem. I don't sleep well in a hot room so this was a BIG deal to me. I will be returning in th - Aigerim

Well having read the other two reviews I thought it only fair to balance the opinions a bit. We had nothing but courtesy from the staff. The room, well the whole building, was clean and in good repair. Everything worked for us. Never been to Zaragoza before. Will definitely go again and will definitely use Don Yo again. - Lisa
