For only €10 a night for the 8 bed room it was brilliant! I stayed for longer than the average stay (17 nights) and I have no complaints! It's very clean and open, with a basic breakfast of a morning (very good considering the price!) Lockers are provided although I would really check them before you leave valuables in them, some aren't that secure! Bathrooms very good and kept clean. Kitchen really good but quite small especially when more than two people want to cook dinner at around the sa.
all reviews » The experience we had at the Quart Hostel was wonderful. The staff was not only helpful and willing to go above and beyond to make us comfortable, but they were friendly as well. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept; the bathrooms as well. There is a lovely kitchen at the disposal of the guests with everything you need to have a meal in the hostel. I am extremely impressed with Quart Youth Hostel and will definitely return to it on my next trip to Valencia. It could not have been better!. This was the best hostel i've been in Spain! Completly new and modern, everything in the hostel is good quality, the matress is very confortable, the toilets are very clean and new. The kitchen is complete with all you need for preparing your lunch. They serve a very good breakfast. During my stay a felt as I was in a nice hotel but paying the price of hostel. I strongly recomend this hostel. I stayed in this hostel for only one night, but I must say it was a perfect stay! It was very clean, good breakfast, boys at the reception were very nice, helpful and caring!! They also have a luggage room, where you can leave your bag after check-out!!!! It's one of the nicest hostels I've stayed in; it's modern, clean, nicely decorated, the breakfast is included, the rooms are nice, the bathrooms are always clean, the internet available is fast and there's two computerd if you need them. Everything is excellent =) Location is very good, in the Old City, some paces from Towers of Quart, Comida para llevar and supermarket are within reach of your hand, very good Wi-Fi connection. It is located near old town center with dozens cafe and restaurants. Modern hostel, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Rooms are quite good, near to city centre and Bus Terminal 15-20mins walking distance. The guys at the reception were always ready to help. The mattresses were new and solid. The kitchen was equipped for cooking. Excellent value for money, will be returning next year. Lockers - there was a theft while I stayed, thankfully not my stuff and it could have happened in any hostel anywhere. But the lockers need updating as some are openable even with a decent lock, I'm assuming down to age or bad quality. Honestly, nothing. Lockers are strange, really) Too simple) You'd better have your own lock, GOOD lock). water didn't taste that nice. Noise isolation is quite low. You can hear noise from street and from hall as well. For going to the beach you have to take the bus. In any case it is impossible to have the beach and the casco viejo together so you have to chose what you prefer. A bit far from the bus and metro station. No 24 hour check-in. lots of stairs to lug my suitcase up!. 23 eu/night is expensive for a Spanish hostel, but this might be due to Las Falles so I guess it's an exception?. N/a. Not 24hr reception. Noice from the street. No elevator Noise from the street (window was not sound proof). I don't know why but I didn't felt in a Hostel. We didn't interacted at all, I guess it was guest's fault. But the place was not so informal. If you are looking for comfort, it is a terrific choice. The air conditioning didn't work. Was not very suitcase friendly - no elevator, and stairs were needed to access both the lobby and the luggage storage room. There was no changing area in the co-ed bathroom, which was a little sketchy in terms of showering. The breakfast should be improved. I would pay more for a better one. Breakfast, Staff were unfriendly and seemed a bit aloof to (and unwilling to help with) problems we brought to their attention, Breakfast was a bit bare. showers were tiny (but hot), dorms were cold and so was the general atmosphere. Did not look like a hostel.
