Wi-fi in reception area. Very comfortable beds. Air con worked well in apt. Spacious apt. And balcony. Had ordered a one bedroom apt., Was of some reason upgraded to two bedroom apt. Without extra cost. Have seen that some reviewers miss updating. Well, the apt. Was renovated with bright colours, simple, well kept furniture. Had nothing to complain about. . Was no hot water in the bathroom, - informed reception, - after 5 min a plummer appeared and fixed it. Appreciate that kind of service! Whe.
all reviews » I booked a sea view aparment through letsbookhotel.com and on arrival (Sunday)was giving a pool view apt. The manager(ess) arrived the Monday and was told the apartment gave out the apartments and was asked for an extra 25 euro for a sea view as it was very busy. I stayed for the the whole week and nobody occupied the apartments the apartments beside ours. Am I stupid or blonde or is the standing agreement not valid in Winter??. I stayed here for a short break in April 2013, location was superb literally yards from the beach, the one bed apartment was well equipped with separate kitchen , lounge sea view balcony and bedroom with en suite, although slightly dated it was clean and fantastic value at £30 per night, will definitely return. staff were excellent ,nothing too much trouble from moment arrived until early hours departure, was someone on desk 24 hours. we had an excellent sea view in nice room ,pool area was nice and clean ,and eventhough late season at least one bar open during day. Location ( a few steps to the beach, shops, restaurants bars), size of apartment, size of balcony, the informal atmosphere, free wifi in reception area, friendly and helpful staff, lovely toasts to get at the pool bar ;-). Everyone was so friendly, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as did my friends, great price, pool and bar with food at great prices. Staff were very good, clean rooms, recommended to friends and would go back in a heartbeat!. Stayed in one bed apartment.Kitchen had gas cooker and was well equipped . The location was near the beach, restaurants and bars. Location. Right on the Montemar beach and beside the beautiful Benalmadena port. It is also right in the middle of the "Irish centre". rooms were clean,near to the beach, taxi rank to hand, staff were very nice and helpfull & a lovely big balcony. I enjoyed my stay at the buensol very much it was nice and relaxing thought the apartment were spacious. Very nice peaple work there, the hotel is not far from Benalmaldena with nice and beautiful harbor. O mallets for great food Elle trillo for fab Spanish food, hill 16 bar nick,Liz are so welcoming. Apartments where very clean a bit basic but still excellent for a 2 key property. location of hotel rooms were very spacious and had every thing you would need. Location, next to beach, close to shops , bars , not far from airport. Right at the heart of everything we wanted to do for our short break. Loved the location and the apt. was lovely and clean. In the high season there are many young guests, some playing loud music, having a beer or three on the balcony, but both sound and teen agers disappeared at mid night. No problem for us. I have nothing bad to say!. I need to clean the room before leaving. Reception not manned all the time. On leaving and needing to get to airport, had to wait quite a while as no one knew where receptionist was, and had to await 50 euros refund, otherwise would have just left the key. Didn't use the pool area as was concerned that the staff and guests didn't seem to care that all drinks at bar were all provided with glasses and bottles, and were consumed around the pool, even within the baby pool area - accident waiting to happen !!!. Worn/stained towels, peeling paint, generally run down. Old gas cooker in kitchen, but nothing to light it with. Matches are cheap, but cooking facilities are an integral part of an apartment and shouldn't need ANY extra expenditure to use them. only thing i didnt like was beds were not comfortable ... Needs to be kept cleaner around the pool, tiles should be hosed down, lifts and area surrounding were grubby and need to be cleaned. Constantly noisy and no control over parties and all night shouting. Very old fashioned Kitchen & bathroom need refurbishing. The beds - Broken and like bricks. Very loud and noisy we could hear next door go to the loo and in the bedrooms !!. The hotel is in major need of updating. I was shocked and we nearly checked straight out but we only went for one night. The fridge was full of rust, damp patches on ceiling in bathroom. Tiles missing, bathroom and kitchen awful, holes in the doors the list is too long! Would not recommend. Places especially the balcony need a paint. Staff very unhelpful.hotel very dated needs a lot of work.
