beautiful classic hotel dating from the late 1800's full of original tilework, chadeliers, medallions, stained-glass etc. of museum quality. untouched by gross and inappropriate renovations of more recent decades and carefully maintained to keep all the beauty of old Sitges. Large gracious courtyard in this hotel and also in sister hotel (Romantic) for included breakfast. Extremely friendly and cooperative staff. Don't go here if you want super-modern, slick marble-and-glass (sterile) accommo.
all reviews » The staff is really friendly and helpful. The garden is a magical surprise. Lovely tranquil sitting area. The location is perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, short walk from the beach. Yet, no noise to disrupt ones sleep! The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. A perfect location in the heart of the historic core. The helpful and courteous staff gave us good recommendations for coffee and cafes. The room was tastefully decorated, authentic, clean and spacious. Really friendly staff and a warm wlecome Always awaits you. The breakfast served outside in the garden is just lovely. The interiors are very Spanish and rustig giving the whole hotel a warm atmosphere. The location was great near bars, restaurants, and the train station. I really liked that it had a ceiling fan, which helped me sleep. It was comfortable, spacious rooms, and very welcoming staff. Awesome breakfast, and great art on the walls. the staff were the most helpfull and friendly ever nothing was too much trouble they made our stay excellent. Staff are lovely, it's easy and well organised. Friendly athmosphere. Location. verify that the rooms have A/C- really only necessary in late july and august. Some rooms are without A/C unfortunately the very prettiest ones. Nothing. The bar was not open! It looked so sweet and romantic but was not open nor was the sister bar open across the street at the Romantic Hotel. We found one close by but it would have been nice to enjoy the hotel facilities. Very little to say.... There was no breakfast for my stay. Weekends are noisy with partiers in all those convenient bars and restaurants. No elevator. I wished there was a floor fan, it was hot and more air circulation would have been helpful. Bad breakfast with no variety. Bit noisy if you have a room on the ground level. Late breakfast (starting at 8.30 we did not have the chance to take profit of open air breakfast in city garden). No availability of recepcionist before 8, difficult check out and payment. Room with very small window, pigeons constantly outside the window. Room number 1 is on the street and a bit noisy. Very noizy. I have got a staff s room I cound not open the balcony, everybody could see me and I didn t feel safe. I should have it closed all time and it was hot.
