Brilliant location. Great restaurants on the street itself, short walk away from charming Barrio Santa Cruz and it's winding streets, La Giralda and the Real Alcazar (main attractions). Seville itself is a great city and I would recommend anyone wanting to explore Spain to stop by. Hotel staff were friendly.

Excellent location in the middle of old town. Short walk to Cathedral and Palace Alcazar. Next to tapas bars. The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

The location was wonderful. Next to everything but still in a small street. Only as noisy as the noise was from the the cute bar around the corner. Didn't bother us. Was easy to come and go. Good for cooking if you wish to do so.

I really enjoyed staying here not only for the free sangria but because it was close to the main sights I wanted to see like the Cathedral and Alcázar. I did find it easier to get to the hostel from the stop before the one they tell you but that could just be me!

El Duque is situated perfectly. I was in Seville for four days and three nights and didn´t use a taxi or bus at any time, it was possible to walk everywhere, even from the railway station to the hostal. We covered all of the old town and surround. Wonderful experience, I will do it again. -
