The staff was very nice and informed on what there is to see and not to be miss. If you go in Seville you have to do the free walking tour. You learn so much in a very short time. We even went out for lunch with our guide who invited the group to join her if interested. Furthermore, the hostel has one of this view that you are going to remember. Everything is clean and well organised. You will not regret it. Oh and you are 1 minute walk away from the main street with all the famous tapas restau.
all reviews » I found the Grand Luxe Hostel a great value of money - our double room with private bathroom was perfectly clean and tidy. Spacious bathroom with shower, towels and bed linen were clean and looking new. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. Great youth atmosphere. The best thing about the hostel - the activities they organize for the guests together with Pancho Tours. We took the free walking tour and the tapa tour and had a lovely evening seeing beautiful corners of Sevilla, having a lo. The cheap price, nice location, room, great view from the rooftop, free breakfast, free wifi, free laundry, the very kind staffs!!! And esp. For letting me leave my luggage bec. My flight is at night & letting me take a bath when i pick-up my luggage. This is highly recommendable!!! It's in the center just along the cathedral & tower. There's a free walking tour by Maggie & other guys (morning, afternoon & night tours). Location is superior! I knew of some good comments about the location when I booked online but I didn't realize it's THAT convenient. Walking distance to most of the major locations and most importantly you don't get lost- just ask people where the Cathedral is and you are technically by the hostel. Also, definitely go to the roof during sunny days, or have a drink with friends there in the evening -- great view, pleasant atmosphere. This is the best hostel ever! The location is just perfect, close the cathedral and the alcazar. From the rooftop there is a great view of the cathedral itself! The 4 beds room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is inside the room, big as well. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly. I would suggest this hostel to anybody!. My couple and me spent there 2 days in Grand Luxe Hostel and I just have good words for this place; nice hostel, clean, organized, perfect location, staff always ready to help and with a smile in their faces (not so common in many places), breakfast good enough and familiar athmosphere. I recommend it 100%. Everything! Centrally located..easy to find. Rooms were comfortable and staff were very helpful. The best part of the hostel was definitely the roof terrace. Room can be noisy but located to this place it is normal. And sometimes it depends from roomates too... We have a problem with Wi-fi connection. The fridge in the kitchen is common for all guests. No air conditioning. The room I stayed it was next to the kitchen and had no draft through the windows due to the location of the room basically blocked from street level. It was stuffy and hot room. from other travelers the other rooms were better. Nothing. Everything was perfect!. Having the room right next to the reception on the ground floor is maybe not the best idea (garbage men early mornings outside, new travellers arriving at night), but no real complaints thanks to the excellent value of price-facility. Would/ will go again!!. wifi didn't work on the third floor and every night, I had to ask the night receptionist to reset the router. Also, our room was just off the kitchen and could get a little noisy in the morning around breakfast. Towels were not changed every day, a bit confusing to find at first. Breakfast is nice but very basic. And it gets very busy at the kitchen at around 9, so you have to queue for your tea/coffee :) When you stay in hostel, you don't know who you're going to share a room with. Unfortunately, some of the mates could be very disrespectful. I know that it has nothing to do with this particular hostel but my stay was not 100% enjoyable because of the people. the shower's door was broken and it was soaking up the floor!!. none. Although my room faced inward off the street, there was a fair bit of noise from the stairwell and elevator. Included breakfast was a bit weak, really just bread with paté, butter, or jam, plus coffee or juice. Bed was comfortable but felt a bit rickety. Room number 3 is next to the main entrance. Everyone entering at night can be heard. The bathroom floods when taking a shower. Why can´t it be free?¡¡¡ Really, Nothing to complain of. We had an unpleasent surprise during the check-in; they told us that the bed of the double room was broken by the previous guest and we had to stay in a quatruple room with bunkers(only me and my girlfriend, but stil annoying...). They charged the half price for this inconvinience which was a nice guesture, but still it won't be my choice to stay there if it was not a late check-in. The wifi did not work for us... It just has opened, so not many staff. There were sometimes no people at reception when I need help, but should be more worker later. Very often nobody in the reception. Nothing. none. I had the room 301, the only one on the third floor, next to the kitchen and the metal stairs to go to the terraza... Clairaudient rooms. Room was very small. Very uncomfortable room (female) - without Windows, no air and light.
