The 'pension' is a delight. It is a small, family run enterprise in a back street, about four hundred yards from the main beach and eight hundred yards from the old town. It is spotlessly clean, recently refurbished and well run. The boss greets you on your arrival, sees to your very need and helps you with directions to a private, secure car park facility one hundred yards away. I would go back tomorrow - or whenever I next go to San Sebastián.

I stayed in a triple room with two other friends. The room was lovely. It is one of the few places I've stayed where the picture of the room looks exactly how it is. The beds were comfortable and the shared bathroom was not a problem, there are three really nice bathrooms for only a handful of rooms. Susanna was very nice, welcoming, and flexible

Couldn't possibly get a better location, right in the heart of the old city and within walking distance to everything. Staff are really friendly and gave us such a warm welcome and farewell. This Pension was spotless and the staff was so friendly. The pension is on door step of some amazing food granted with this location there was some night street noise. Shared bathroom never an issue here as many bathrooms for bedrooms.

I was feeling unwell the day after we arrived, and the lady at the Pension directed us to a very good medical centre. Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left. We could come and go as we pleased. -

We enjoyed our stay at the Zaragoza Plaza; this small hotel is well located (step away from La Concha beach and close to the old city), and in a quiet area just in front of the Zaragoza Plaza. The free parking and affordable rate led me to book here. The staff was friendly and helpful (and spoke good English), the breakfast was plentiful, and we could even leave our car in their parking lot after we checked out so we could explore the city some more. The room was clean and comfortable and the location wasn't an issue for us since we love to walk around cities-and this time we walked along the beach and it was beautiful.
