Great room, excellent views and friendly staff at the front desk. excellent location and clean, contemporary style of the rooms.The hotel's location is just wonderful--- central and directly across from the gorgeous and interesting walking promenade at the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom adequate. All in all, an excellent choice for our prince range.
all reviews » Close to the Concha beach and Centro, Old town and the Port. Room verycomfortable once we got the air conditioning working (east exposure-very hot first morning). This hotel was located a block away from the Bay of Biscay. It was very close and was easy to walk to almost everything. The rooms were very nice and quiet. We could not figure out the use of the safe, so we did not have access to it.We asked one of the workers if breakfast was included and he said yes, however, when we went to check out, we were charged for breakfast. They told us that it was not included and we had to pay the price. Parking not included in the room price, too high room prices and absence of a balcony.Wireless internet should be better (and free!). There was not free access of internet. parking space was very reduced and limited, making very difficult to park even a small vehicle on it. Air condition in the room was not working well and the reason given was that the hotel was full. First impressions of staff were terrible. First on entering the underground car park we met one of the rudest men i have ever had the misfortune to meet. having followed a car down a ramp because there was no space on the level we were on, it transpired that we had gone down wrong ramp. Instead of just telling me this he slammed on the roof then proceeded to act agressively till i found a spot...wireless in room did not work. The rate for in room was 2 euros for 2 hours. The only option I was given was the lobby computer which was 2 euros for 30 minutes! Phone didn't work and the only option staff gave me was to by a phone card and use the public phone. Both were very inconvenient. They informed us they had a laundry service, we asked them to do a load of washing. Without telling us the expense they went ahead of charged us 209 euro when checking out - not impressed!!. The safe in our room did not work. I contacted the front desk and the receptionist came up. She reset the safe and then watched while I followed the instructions. It did not work. She said that it wasn't working and left. Nothing more happened, and the matter was not resolved. not good enough for a 4 star, very noisy, run down.the staff at the reception. I had to pay the room at check-in. I filled out the official complaint at the hotel.
