The moment we walked in the lady on reception was incredibly helpful, speaking both English and Spanish. When asking if the water out of the tap was safe to use for a 1 yr old's bottle she advised it wasn't but within 5 minutes we had a knock on the door and we were given bottled water which I thought was fantastic customer care. The cot was already there and set up when we arrived too, in addition, it wasn't a standard travel cot, it was a proper wooden baby cot which was brilliant. We stayed.
all reviews » Great hotel. Basic, but everything you need and very clean. Lovely pool. Very quiet. Staff couldn't be more helpful. We had to be out of the room at 12 but wasnt leaving until 4. The receptionist stored our cases, showed us where we could shower and gave us fresh towels. The location is brilliant. It's a 5 min walk to one of the best beaches in San An. It's a 10 min walk to Mambo and Cafe del Mar. And around 20 mins to the West End- should you so wish. It's so quiet at night, you almost feel li. This was our second visit to El Coto and the experience was just as good as last year. The apartments are very clean, comfortable and are in a nice quiet location within easy reach of the local beach Cala Gracio. Nice view of San Antonio bay from our balcony. The pool area is great and there is a restaurant and mini supermarket right next to the apartments. Ines at reception is an absolute star who is always warm, friendly and welcoming with lots of island advice and help. She goes out of her w. The staff are sooo friendly, big shout out to Ines, the receptionist! we have stayed here twice now and love it, location is good coz its near an amazing tranquil bar (Aquarium) 5 min walk, 10 min walk to the promanade which takes you to amazing beach front cafes, 20 min walk to west end. This is a great place to stay if you want to sleep at night, no rowdy groups or stag weekenders here, overall this place is ideal for us and we would definately return next year!!!!!. The room was very well- equipped, with balcony that had light and curtain, also views of the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, the pool excellent. The whole place was really calm and restful, with easy access to bar and shop next door, and a short walk to a beautiful beach. It was far enough out of town to be quiet at night, but an easy walk to the town centre. The El Coto is in an ideal location for holidaymakers wanting to be near the action but not in it! It is a 20 minute walk to San Antonio but 5 minutes to Cala Gracio beach. The room is large for a small hotel and lovely balcony! The staff are lovely and friendly!. The resort was really great. There is a small supermarket, the restaurant was really good and had a full bar. The facilities were more than ample. The room was large with a great balcony. The Kettle in the room probably needs chucking away. There wasnt a thing we didnt like. If you're looking for a pool that plays music all day then this isn't it. Nothing!!!!. Only one thing: no light switch beside the bed: only a very minor point!. The kitchenette in the apartment just has 2 gas rings so could only boil and fry food,it would be nice to have a small microwave/oven. The room was not sufficient for 3 people sharing, as there was no privacy and made the space very small. Its a small walk to the main area of san antonio on an unlit road, which is not great, but it does mean its quiet. nothing. No shampoo or Soap in the room. Thin a not very secure roomdoors. Need a car to get there. Uncomfortable beds - 2 singles pushed together. Poor lighting & footpath leading to the hotel - once off the Main Street. Wifi only works in lobby - not in room.
