  Staff were the best I've come across from a hotel - they are sincerely in their helpfulness and nothing is too much trouble. Really fantastic people. Excellent breakfasts (both quality of food and selection) -including fresh juices The hotel is very clean. Clearly they have an excellent rota to clean not only the main things that people can see ... what people say » immediately but also for the things that people don't necessarily notice. That is a sure sign of quality management and that they truly care. Their - This is an excellent hotel! Staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The spa is just fabulous, with its in-the-cave Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, water beds and other pleasures. Rooms are very nice and clean (we especially liked a piece of gourmet chocolate every evening as the maid came to prepare the room for the night for us), excellent air-conditioning for the heatwave that we experienced that week.   Very very good hotel and not expensive. We've lived in the improved room with balcony. It's rather good. Also we liked tasty food in the restaurant. There were many fruits and vegetables, different meats and sweets. - The food was great, in quantity and quality. Really good transport links (you can get just about anywhere on the island from the local bus station) and San Marcos has a nice beach and is within walking distance.
