  Not an historic restored ruin but a lovely small hotel much in the style of early last century. Very comfortable, big room and bathroom and superb attention to detail. - Very helpful, attentive staff. Great location, easy to walk to many restaurants and cafes.

  Staff was very helpful and kind. Bus came every hour - The hotel provides an excellent menu del dia in the evening at a very reasonable price. There is a regular bus service for less than 1€ into the centre of Santiago which leaves from outside the hotel.

  2 years ago when undertaking the Camino I visited Casa Barbedelo for a stamp and thought this would be a beautiful place to stay on my next trip. I can confirm it is a special place beyond my expectation - friendly and efficient staff, a lovely clean room, excellent facilities, a beautiful location overlooking the valley, excellent food and on the... what people say » Camino. We arrived early evening and it was so nice to wash and sit outside enjoying a lovely meal and an excellent wine as the evening gently faded - Rooms are clean, friendly staff esp our waiter who served us warmly always with a smile. Location is great..on the Camino route which served our purpose well as we were doing the pilgrimage walk. We thoroughly enjoyed the countryside...great ambience. Will definitely stay there again

  A fantastic place to stay. Old house setting but completely redesigned with very modern facilities. Really nice and comfortable rooms with a great power shower. A very relaxing and chilled out place with a lovely garden to relax in. One of places I enjoyed staying in the most on the Camino. Situated a bit off the Camino making it an ideal retreat... Beautifully renovated stone building away from traffic! Best night's sleep of the whole journey!
