Great views across the marina and the Ria towards the Island. Very easy walking distance to the town which has good small restaurants and bars serving superb local seafood dishes. Also easy distance from the beaches.

The hotel had a very nice view. All the rooms booked had a balkony / consercatory, so we enjoyed the time there as well as in the spacious rooms. Rooms were clean, the furniture can be described as vintage without being "worn", the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, you can hear when your room neighbours are taking a shower or talking loudly.

The room with terrace and enclosed seating area was beyond my expectations. The bedroom was very comfortable indeed. Also, the restaurant manager went out of his way to accommodate my request for certain fish dishes for which they did not charge me extra. I paid for 1/2 board.
All the staff were charming and helpful. I would certainly stay there again if I visited that part of Spain in the future. I commend every aspect of this Parador.

The location of the hotel was very good, very close to the old market, Plaza de Abastos and to the historic centre of Santiago. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
