  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and attentive, and worked very hard to ensure everything ... what people say » ran smoothly. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

The owner gave us a guided tour to explain the history of the property and the rennovation process -- fascinating. We had dinner one night at the hotel and enjoyed it greatly. We overheard quite a few clients mentioning that they had been there before and were planning to return.

All the windows in the sun room opened.
