The owners were delightful and so helpful.We loved this stopover. the accommodation is 300 years old and has been delightfully modernised still retaining so much character. The owner has lived in the house all her life and her family have lived in it for 300 years. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful stay. We hope to return.

A classic modernista era family run hotel (it was previously their home). We loved it because there were keys, not key cards, the furniture is all old fashioned but everything was clean and light and original. Original stone floor tiling may not be to everyone's taste and it is basic (no phone in the room, small TV but those for me are plusses) T

For a two stars it can't be better than this: We had the double room
with two queen-sized beds for two with access to the roof. Room was so
large it could be a suite. It is decorated with art-noveau style
(furniture, floor and bathroom too). The entire hotel is decorated in
this style. A treat, really. Location is very good. Train station is 100
or so meters away. And with a short stroll anyone can reach the beaches,

The setting is idyllic - far from the madding crowds in other parts of the Costa Brava. A tiny cove on the Med with Crystal clear water.
Sa Rascassa is superb - very small but very comfortable and peaceful. Restaurant is wonderful with fresh,simple, local cuisine. Oscar (owner) is a gem . Knowledgeable and generous with his time. Begur seems remote and very private - if you are a party animal

The hotel was very centrally located within a few minutes walking distance of busy las ramblas & close to many restaurants & a supermarket.
The apartment room was large & spacious to accommodate my family of 4 including 2 teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious as well & the kitchenette was well equipped.

Lovely location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, but in a small side
street so it is nice and quiet. The rooms are lovely with the exposed
wall and slate tiled bathrooms. Staff were really helpful and
recommended places to eat and go see, and generally very friendly and
attentive. Fantastic location near all the bars and restaurants, and
about 5-7 min walk to the food market, and tube (metro) station. We
didn't use the swimming pool as we went in March (still too cold)
but it did look tiny.
