Easy walk into the town for a good range of restaurants at reasonable prices.   I stayed at the Hermes for the first time with a friend, The hotel was very well priced for two single rooms. The rooms themselves were very small, but I knew that from the photos. I suspect even after seeing the size In the photos and the reality was that things were tighter than I had realised. The bathroom was very small, and very difficult to ... what people say » use the sink, as the toilet was right in front , so shaving and brushing teeth was very difficult. The shower was small, but very good water pressure - They nicely upgraded my room from the tiny budget single-bed cupboard and shower I was planning on having to a very decently plush double-bed room with balcony and full bath! The hotel was not full in October, so they could do that. The room I had tended to the luxury end of the spectrum (safe, svelte lighting, large modern painting above the bed, swanky bathroom).without quite getting there (tiny 10in deep cupboard).
