  I stayed for one night to break the journey from Barcelona to Valencia. The owner has restored and converted a building that had been empty for a number of years. The photos I had seen prior to my trip interred that the rooms were old. However this is just the historical style of the furniture used used to fit out the room. All the facilities are... what people say » the modern. The English speaking host was so friendly and made one feel like one was staying with a long time friend. A taxi can get to within 30 met - The B&B is located very near to the Templar castle at the very top of the ´Rock´that overlooks and dominates the town and beaches of Peniscola. The host, Guido, is a charming man who literally rebuilt his small hotel by hand. He also personally roasts and brews perhaps the best coffee I´ve ever tasted. The B&B itself oozes ambience and there are several good restaurants just a few doors down. The Templar castle itself is fascinating historically and offers stunning views. We really enjo

  The staff were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was good and the flat was spotless! The location was fantastic with just a short walk to the river which is 25c so swimming was excellent. - It is in the perfect location if you wish to visit the 'mineral waters'.   Excellent location. Very close to the beach. Accomodations exactly as the pictures show. Roomy, but cozy. Apartment is well equiped. Nice personel and very helpful.   For me the location was perfect...but for many, esp if like me, you don't have a car you might be very disappointed...or even angry. It's 3-4km to the shops and a couple of km to the main sandy beach but the small rocky beach is only 1km or so down the hill off the wonderful coastal walk the Via Verde :) Yes it's a literal hike but apartment owner... what people say » Gabby so kindly drove me in on day one to get the bulk of my supplies and then I just topped up with fruit and veg as I needed on foot. I run a lot s - Everything. Everything was amazing. We got the penthouse and ours had 4 balconies, including a private roof terrace, off the 2 bedrooms, livingroom, kitchen and office. The only thing missing in the whole place was a hair dryer. I would highly recommend for families, couples and friends. Beautiful area, great modern and comfortable apartments with views to the sea and mountains, and secured free parking. Wish we spent our whole stay here!
