Location, as we had a rented car and we could travel everywhere by car, but I saw a lot of restaurant nearby anyway. The view is fantastic, the sound of the waves too, 10 out of 10 for the spectacular view. The furniture is old but still fulfilling the requirements, everything worked. The beds looked cheap, but I didn't experience any back pain in the morning like in some other much more expensive hotel. BTW, the price is also attractive and it counted for our decision to stay at Bellavista Mi.
all reviews » Excellent value for your money. Apartments with basically but sufficiently equipped kitchen,everyday cleaning. The aparthotel has its own carpark (car is recommended as the hotel is not in the centre, approx. 15 min. walk but a few shops and a supermarket nearby). Good starting point for travelling all around the island. Splendid ocean coast view, good price, clean and light rooms. Wonderful place! Puerto de la Cruz is very good in summer time for northern travellers. It is not hot here, temperature is around 27 degrees. If we stay in Tenerife we'll definitely choose Bellavista once again. - Good value for the price - Rooms are cleaned everyday - Spacious room - Nice bathroom - Beautiful sea view from balcony - Supermarket within 5 minutes; close to everything. The parking is full late in the evening, so I had to park it on the corner of the street. The hotel key ring is a huge piece of metal, old school, no card technology over-there. Everything is a bit outdated, but for this money it's a good deal. - Staff at reception. They are not very welcoming, and speak only very basic English, and never saw them smiling. But at least they do their job, they try to answer your questions, help you print documents and give information when asked. Instant coffee for breakfast. Internet is free in the lobby, but just by 8PM!. At nights it was a little bit too loud and and too cold, although balcony was closed. Wi.fi only available in reception and bar area. In the hotel stay a little young people. quiet far away from city centre, high above sea level. Small appartment. You can't use swimingpool after 18.00 P.M. The toilet's niagra didn't work and although we ask to fix it, nothing was done. We had to use the toilet in the other room. One of the refrigerators in our childrens room, did not work. Stuff isn't good with computer. The receptionist didn't manage to print a doc. Mainly vacationists are old Germans. bar wasn't very welcoming. no entertainment. got mugged outside hotel on our last night-I left my boyfriend to head back to room at 11pm and my handbag with all my valuables was taken. it is in a very nice area so this was shocking to me. I was very upset at the time and the receptionist were uncaring and bordering rude about it. disappointing end to what was otherwise a great stay. la paz is very very quiet, would not stay there if looking for a bit of fun. 280 stairs.
