Staff (ex-pat Brits) were attentive, friendly and helpful passing on useful local information. Very cheap and drawbacks listed below were just about acceptable to solo walker /birdwatcher. My wife would not have coped, though I will return...). not much - just a basic room - get what you pay for which is fair enough. Low November temperatures and high winds exposed serious deficits in insulation and heating, tho' some remedies forthcoming eventually. Impossible to close and open room doors quietly, serious problems with plumbing and smells in my bathroom, cleanliness level worryingly low (flocculent dust, crumbs)...
