What people say
Room 301 Double bed, good mattress, fluffy towels, strong wifi, all non-
smoking so it smells clean and fresh, very comfortable, has elevator and
great staff.
Best breakfast on Camino for selection and price! It was well worth 5 euros, fresh-squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits, meats, cheese, pastries, cereals, yogurt, toast.
No a/c but it wasn't necessary. It is not on Camino but nearby as you are entering Palas de Rei. Ten minute walk to center of town. all reviews »
By far the nicest place we stayed since we started the Camino, rooms were modern and clean, breakfast was delicious but the most impressive element as others have said were the owners. Such lovely helpful people. We decided to walk into town although they they offered us a lift and when we were leaving the restaurant they happened to be outside dropping off other guests so we had a lift home...sweet!.
Big clean spacious room, great breakfast ... and agree with previous guests, amazing owners. Lovely, very welcoming and ready to help with every little thing (the center of the town - which is very small - is something like 10 minutes walk, and they have offered us a lift). It's meeting people like this that makes the Camino experience so unique and memorable, thank you!.
We arrived late in the evening after doing about 22km on the Camino. We got a great welcome but the next morning the lady of the house was so helpful and attentive. We had a realy good breakfast and it was like home away from home. The owner ran down the street after us to tell us we could take a shortcut. Realy good and spotlessly clean.
Located on the outer limits of the village-but still near enough to all the pubs/restaurants. Very clean and adequate for an over night stay. Self service breakfast the following morning which set us up for the day. Staff -although no english-were very helpfull.
very newly renovated good sized rooms.private and quiet. hostess excellent and very helpful.we stayed there while doing the camino walk. very nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. staff went out of their way to help.
The staff were wonderful and so helpful, nothing was a problem. The room was clean, breakfast great. I was walking the camino and I advise fellow walkers to watch out for the sign Residencia Pension Palas before you enter the town.
Walking the Camino De Santiago - excellent location on the Way. Family owned - extremely attentive- clean - warm. Did our laundry and ran us to the restaurant and back. Great breakfast. Extremely good value for money.
The staff is wonderful, going out of their way to be helpful! I had a
lovely room with closed in balcony and with the sunshine, made the room
seem even bigger! Great breakfast the next morning for only 5€.
Hotel was clean and of good quality. Breakfast was excellent and probably the best of all the “continental” ones I ate
while walking the Camino
with many choices of patisserie and breads and drinks.
Stayed here while walking the camino. A bit off the path but well signposted and worth the extra few minutes walk. Lovely spacious room, helpful staff, would definitely stay again.
This pension is new and sparkling clean. Although not far from the highway to Lugo, the building is situated and designed to block off noise. Indeed, we had a pleasant stay.
Lovely and helpful staff who couldn't do enough! Delicious breakfast and the hotel is in an area of outstanding natural beauty.I would definitely stay here again!!!.
It was like staying in a palace after staying in some awful places along the camino. It is ultra modern, spotlessly clean and the staff are amazing. 10/10!.
Stayed in this hotel as part of our stop while doing the Camino. Everything is good in general and our dinner in the restaurant was very good as well.
The hotel was well situated as we walking the Camino de Santiago. Eva, the receptionist, was wonderful. Very friendly and very helpful.
Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy and in good condition
Comfortable bed providing you are not too noise sensitive.
Friendly staff, good value, updated baths and clean room. A bit off the downtown route, but not too far from city center.
Washing service was excellent since we were backpacking on Camino de Santiago.
Breakfast was extensive and delicious.
Exceptional breakfast, one of the best we had whilst doing the Camino and very helpful staff.
It is located near all the nice restaurants and the gambas y aeoli in Galacia Bar are superb!.
staff were very helpful and the it was very modern, more like a hotel than pension.
Comfortable & quiet. Clean. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.
Modern and very clean. Excellent breakfast and good value for money.
Hotel was very new cleaned and staff helpful.
Great for Camino.
Comfortable sleeping, clean and fresh. Security was good.
Central and convenient. Friendly and courteous staff.
Extremely clean and modern. Exceptional quality.
good value for money, clean and comfortable.

Well run.
Staff welcoming. Close to the Camino.
Price was very good for accommodation.
Breakfast, rooms, staff / owners.
clean comfortable friendly staff.
Very clean and good price.
cheap but ok.
atmosphere,.
Nice place.
A bit far from the Camino but staff friendly.
nothing flash, but a good cheap hotel.
Friendly and Clean.
Nothing, it was superb!.
Location-but only a minor point.
N/A.
Could not fault.
Rooms are simple - but very clean and suitable for Pilgrims.
Enjoyed everything!!.
At the end of a long day it seemed to be quite a distance from the Camino and up a hill. The next day didn't seem so far but is still away from the Camino.
Nothing.
It's in the outskirts of town, about half a kilometer from the church, shops and eateries.
Nothing. It was fab!.
The hotel is at the far end of town, though not really an issue.
Very poor sound proofing between floors and walls, When another room
operated shower or toilet it sounded like it was in the same room. No
room outlook.
Unfortunately the good location is also it's downfall.
Located on the main through road it is very noisy and the curtains did not keep out thr ambient light from the street lights.
A bit out of the way. Shower is cramped. Access to washer & dryer is very limited.
Lots of building going on around the hotel.
A bit far from the centre of town (and restaurants, bars, etc.) and a bit off the beaten track of the Camino de Santiago.
Walls are thin!.
The rain!.
Travellers camped near by.
As with most spanish buildings the walls are paper thin so if you have noisy neighbors.......
basic but ok for the price.
booking com coordinates 1km away.
