The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is decorated with style and the room was very clean and comfortable. It is close to everything, in between the Mirador and the bus station. What I like the most was the roof terrace with spectacular views of the sea and the mountain. On the terrace you can eat, take sunbath, play billiard, watch TV, or use the fitness machines. I strongly recommend it to everybody. We will come back to stay longer.
all reviews » Nerjasol Hostal was lovely, so close to everything and the views were lovely from the roof. The staff were great and our room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Our shower was broken when we arrive but staff were very quick to repair it. Our room on the 2nd Floor was perfect. We stayed in this room last year. The Air Conditioning, fridge, safe and the beds were great too. The Roof Terrace was perfect for sunbathing. Also the young Girl at the Reception was very kind too. Nice to have a fridge in the room for food/drink! Cafeteria downstairs w microwave, coffemachine and drinks/snack vending machines. Supernice roofterrasse! Service and staff brilliant. (stayed 4 weeks) Good size room w large onsuite. The staff, the location, the cleanliness of the whole hostal, the value for money - but, especially, the room! I had a single en-suite room, with a fabulous private terrace and a small, fully equipped kitchen. It was close to the beach, good restaurants and shopping. The rooms were of decent size and clean. Can't beat the price. There was a terrace on the roof with an amazing view, lounge chairs, games and music. The Sun Terrace is what makes this hotel. It's the reason we booked it and it didn't disappoint. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. First time we have stayed at a Hostel in Nerja and for the price that we paid it was perfect. We know Nerja as this is the 4th time we have stayed there. Fantastic location a little noisy on the mornings with the bin men and the road sweepers but only for a few minutes. The room was clean and the beds were made every day and we had clean towels every day. 18 Euros a night for a single room with shared bathroom is unbeatable.The hostal has a kitchen you are free to use and a recreation room where you can look at television or chat to other guests. Well located for the tourist facilities in Nerja. Clean and fridge in the room with water a bonus. Quiet clean, quiet, with wifi in the room, close to beach and the balcony of Europe. Fridge and air conditioning in the room; terrace view is amazing and it would be really a good place to hang out if you are in a group; not far away from beach, but still central location; ok place to stay a night and see Nerja. Did not like Room No. 107 on the first floor as noise from the bathroom next door kept us awake. When we complained we were given the room on the second floor. Would be nice if terrasse was open in the morning. (me beeing an early riser :-) ). The only minor point was the fact that the shower had a plastic curtain, which is the norm - but a perspex partition, or something similar, would be great!. Beds were not very comfortable to sleep on. All noises echoed, especially in the lobby. Some of the rooms face back into the hotel, so you have no outside window- just a window facing back into the common areas of the hotel. Unfortunately we were given one of those rooms! Our room was also quite small. nothing. nothing. Should have stayed a couple of nights!. Car parking is always a problem in Nerja, especially in August. Its not really a criticism of this hostel, just an observation of Nerja in general. Nothing!. Nobody was ever at reception. Ring the bell and wait. It will take some time. nothing. Some of rooms don't have windows on the street but only on inside courtyard. All the things in nerja sol was nice except cleaness. i saw ants in my kichen, and terrace terrace..yeah i understand. but..in kichen..i cant i never understand that. Nothing of note. the atmosphere of an athentic small town, good restaurants and so often good weather.ery nice cheap guesthouse. Clean. eavy suit cases. no wifi in room. rooms were a little bit small. Bathroom was a little too small. Information was lacking mainly due to language issue. Can't complain about anything. As the hostal is in a small alley and opposite a student residence, it can get quite loud at night. Ear plugs did the job for me. The front room may get a little noisy during the high season due to tourist and early morning traffic noise. However, this was as not a big issue for us in very early August on a Sunday night/Monday morning. The reception women doesn't know how to smile, this is the only one person I met in my 20 days trip without smile :( But if you don't mind, it's still a nice place to stay. In room 106. Kept away all night by water heater above room switching on and off all night ,no not good. Noise out on the street - cars, motor bikes etc. Room very small. Old furniture, open window to stairwell, so that all conversation from reception and passing guests could be heard.
