Very pleased with the apartments, the location was excellent, the owner did not have hardly english but, nevertheless, we understood each other. The apartment was very clean and we had sky tv which was a plus. I was impressed with the accommodation and would return. The owner was very accommodating and even dropped us up to the Bus Station on our day of departure. I know it was quiet at the time but we had requested a taxi but he, nevertheless, did it himself even though he is a very busy man.

Good location within a few minutes walking distance to a lovely seafront promenade and only ten minutes walk to The Balcon,shops, restaurants and Tapas Bars.We were in F1 on the first floor with views of the sea and on the sunny side of the building. The apartments were very clean, spacious and walking distance to the beach the town. There were some very nice Tapas bar nearby also. We have the penthouse apartment with roof terrace, which I would highly recommend as it gives you even more space and also you can eat in the sunshine. It is run by a very welcoming and helpful man, while the staff are equally as helpful. Lovely apartments and a handy private terrace for those on the 3rd floor. The pool is great too. We found these apartments large and spacious. Security was good and the apartment was cool and clean. the staff were helpful especially as our Spanish wasn't very good. The clean apartment, the localtion, 100m from torrecilla beach, the staff (Mr Antonio), the possibility to park the car for 6€/day and just relax. The flat was spacious for the 4 of us. very clean All the shops were in walking distance,the beach was very close which was great for the kids. Apartment clean large and bright. Reception opened on a phone call, and we were made welcome quickly and shown around even though 2100H. We had been there in April and enjoyed the location etc. We rebooked on this occasion for our Autumn break. It was what we booked. The location was good, the apartment spotless and when we reported a problem with the hot water it was fixed very quickly. As always (fifth time): very friendly staff, very clean, great appartments, good location and Nerja is a very nice town. Good value. Easy to have a rapport with Manager and housekeeping staff. Felt secure. Convenient for MAS(supermarket). The owner was excellent even though he spoke little English . Everything was as requested a trouble free stay. Excellent accommodation. The owner was very helpful even though communication was difficult. You advertise the apartments as brand new but they were built 5 years ago. Great location. Spacious apt., Safe town. One of the downsides was that Recepton was not manned when we arrived. A phone call had to be made and the owner was around in a jiffy. The TV channels are basic, so it would be good to have either more channels or a DVD player for people who stay in in the evenings. also whilst the nearest beach is very nice, the one the other side of town is much nicer. However, you can walk there is about 40 mins and it is a very nice walk. Or you can get a cab or drive there is 10 mins. Had issues with bathroom door, could change the towels every 2 days. it would be nice to have a welcome pack with some washing up liquid,a sponge ,bits and bobs like water etc when we just come into the flat instead of having to rush out for some essentials. Noisy work on ground floor for some days fitting out a shop - should be finished by the time that this is published, and noisy fitting of AC to other apartments on other days. We booked an extra night's accommodaton direct with the owner because our flight was not departing until 22.00 hrs. We paid for a full night when it could have been halfed because we vacated the apartment at 18.30 hrs on the days in question so in actual fact we availed of twelve hours instead of twentry four hours. We could have done with extra toilet rolls during our stay but other than at the start we did not get any more. The walls are very thin, you can hear people talking in other apartments and when they use the bathroom the pipes make quite a bit of noise. The beds are not very comfortable. The staff is very helpfull and friendly but their English knowledge is very low (but this goes for a lot of people around Nerja despite all the English people in town) Part of the furniture is getting a bit worn out and all the knives in the kitchen needs to be sharpened, we brought our own this time. Unfortunately we had a balcony facing the pool, hence not too much sunshine, but it was JanFeb afterall. Pool area is very small, however proximity to the beach compensated fully for this. Sheets not changed and towels only swapped once in the week. It is a bit of a walk to buranna beach, which is the main beach. No water in swimming pool although the water may have been too cold to take a dip!. The staff is very kind and helpfull, but could be a bit better in the english language. Only concern is design of balcony sliding doors. One could easily lock oneself out by closing doors behind you. No handle on outside. The manager was lovely but had very little English! Enough to get by though!. nothing. The downside was that apartment we stayed in was on the poolside and received no sun all day. Some noise in some appartments, but others are very quiet. One must ask for a quiet one (far from the street). To check in we phoned number with no response. At office door, we phoned a different number shown on the door. A lady answered who spoke no English. She soon came with keys. She was very nice and we managed ok. The owner/manager appeared next day, with limited English. All manageable but initially rather worrying. Never changed towels or bedding. svimingpool. The extremely uncomfortable beds and sofas. The fact that the wifi didn't work for 4 days, the microwave didn't work but was changed within 2 days, the iron had a bare wire but was changed immediately. The sun terrace was lovely but the sun beds needed a mattress on them. Hard beds. Could have provided a few basic supplies(dish soap, tea or coffee supplies, etc). Bit hard to find. beds basic and uncomfortable location noisy we were on first floor beside busy street. The bed......need new matress. Source of painful morning backache. Beds very uncomfortable No cleaning service Swimming pool is about the size of a large jacuzzi Upholstery very dirty and worn.
