Our room was clean and comfortable.(appeared to be recently re-furbished); the view was towards the sea plus the mountains further down the coast. The owner Ramon was very friendly and helpful. There was off road parking for our hire car. The length of time breakfast was available meant we didn't have to rush our start to the day; there was plenty to eat and drink plus more if we had wanted it. We hope to return and stay longer next time.
all reviews » This hostal is first rate. Spotlessly clean, nice modern decor and excellent service. We paid extra for a sea view but was well worth it. Memory foam mattress, toiletries provided, clean towels daily the only thing that it didnt have was tea and coffee making facilities but in spain we know this to be normal but not a problem to us as took our own. Not surprised this is number one on trip advisor. I went to Mojacar to sort out some business regarding a divorce mainly. Saw many old friends whilst there too. My room was comfortable and had a terrace, and everything I needed really. The owner "Ramon" was delightful and very very helpful, he would sort any problem immediately. I would definitely stay there again. Excellent value and the owner could not do enough, he was very disappointed that we were leaving very early on our last day and would not be able to have breakfast. Bed and pillows very comfortable and the pillows smelt clean and fresh which is more than can be said at the last 3 hotels I stayed in !!. Hostal is first class for cleanliness,decor and comfort. Breakfast is typical Spanish and totally adequet, Ramon the owner was very helpfull, have been in Mojacar several times and this has been the best accomadation so far,better value for money than a 4 star hotel. If there was anything that we needed we only had to ask. Typical Spanish breakfast every day with an opportunity to experience Spanish life. - The owner is wonderful! He helps you in everthing you need (I spoke with him about the break with my girlfriend! Good advices!). - The breakfast is big and really tasty! - It's really next to the beach. The Hostel was very clean throughout and the staff were incredibly friendly. Ramon the owner, could not do enough to make our stay more memorable and we would not hesitate to recommend it. It is very difficult to find a negative comment about my booking. no safety deposit box. no towel rail by the handbasin in bathroom. I wish ALL hotel owners would put a notices in their rooms asking Ladies to remove their shoes in the room. There's nothing worse than listening to someone constantly click clacking in high heels around the neighbouring room for 2 - 3 hours morning and night. All was very good. Nothing. Nothing negative to say. Nothing great place to stay & value for money is excellent. The bar didn't stay open in the evening. Not really a negative as there were plenty of bars locally :-). No balcony or outside space. Reception unmanned on arrival- had to phone a number and wait 10 minutes for owner to turn up. Not much soundproofing quite noisy at the weekend. nothing. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. no glasses in the room. Nothing!. nothing. Beach was dirty, didn't swim. It's a Hostal so no lounge area but plenty of bars around.
