Nicely located (5 mins from a beach, 15 minutes from Malaga center by a bus, shops and cafeterias nearby). Very clean, very pretty building with nice inside patio for relaxing breakfasts. Very much liked the location of the hostel. The location, it's has a little bar directly below (basic Spanish and cheap) fish restaurantes around the corner, 1 hour stroll into main centre or 10 mins on bus, from the centre the train goes to the popular holiday resorts on the costa del sol.More for the mature couples and not for nightclubbers. all reviews »
good price and easy to get to beach and town. Hotel was clean. Close to the beach. Not far away from city center - 15 minutes by bus. Pleasant and helpful staff, close to facilities.2 minute walk to beach area. Pleasant staff. Comfortable. It was good value for the money. Although it was farther out of Malaga than we thought there was a regular bus service No. 11. It was near the beach and there was a supermarket nearby.Nice rooms, city center easilly reachable thanks to bus 11. Cheap, air-conditioned, nice patio, close to beach. Wasnt very happy with the hostel at all, it was very very noisy, and with no one on reception after 12, things got very loud. The staff doesn't speak English well (but surely enough to communicate about basics). No catering facilities - but this wasn't a problem since there are nice places to eat just a few paces away.Only drawback was no fridge in room. The beds are very low. A bit too noisy - hotel situated close to the main road. Beds were adequate but not the most comfortable.No English channels on TV. Although I dont recommend staying in your hotel and watching TV it is useful if you have an early flight the next morning, The only other downside is that it is a good 15-20 minutes drive to Malaga City Centre depending on traffic but if you dont want the city centre the beach area is close by ! It maybe useful to also know a little Spanish before staying here :-). For two nights out of the three we were disturbed in the early hours by the door bell and the noise coming from the patio area. May I suggest that this area is placed out of bounds from Midnight. Our room wasn't cleaned on the Sunday morning.No warm water, at least in my room. Nobody at the reception for the check-out till 8.00 A.M. Noisy, booing sound from bathroom next door all night, loud guests at patio (room windows going out on the patio), cockroaches in bathroom. Didnt like the location, very busy road, rooms pokey, doors banged all night, our 2nd night there was someone hammering on the front door for an hour, guests were noisy and inconsiderate, staff dont speak one word of English, the place is not a holiday resort at all, no one speaks even minimal English, beaches dirty, the place was generally a slum. Couldnt wait to go home, to have some sleep.
