Friendly and efficient staff. Excellent accommodation and facilities. Quirky, modern interior and high tech fittings in rooms! Buffet breakfast is of high quality and very well presented. I will undoubtedly use this hotel again. Its closeness to both the rail terminal and the bus station, which has a regular airport service, is a particular advantage. well designed room, friendly check in staff, useful location in station (very modern station plus shopping centre) fun lobby. Above all the food - lovely breakfast(included in rate) and delicious good value evening meal with funexpected little extras like generous numbers of chocolates with coffee.

This applies to Malaga too. However I didn'thave any negative experience, so it's not a complaint, just a point tonote. The old town is a >20 minute walk from the hotel but buses andtaxis are cheap. Not dislikes but would just be desirable: As a solo occupant of a room, the rate was the same as a couple. Although this is the case in most hotels, it would be good to have it reduced. On arrival, it would be helpful for staff at reception to offer a map and show on it the location of the hotel and a rough idea of the interesting places to visit.However, we were given a map when we requested one.I was rather disappointed not to be allocated a room with a bath as this would have been a real treat for my four year old son. The reason was because I had my dog with me but it would have been good if I had been advised of this at the time of the booking. The staff at this hotel did explain the reason and did seem to be genuinely regretful that they couldn't accommodate my request. Just 1 small point we had to wait for service at the bar/lounge. Had trouble witht he WiFi connection not working, but was told there is wired connection in the rooms too (albeit hidden). Only stayed one night so not too much a problem. well the room we had,had a broken bathroom door which didnt slide shut but it didnt bother us,but apart from that it was perfect.On the tv would have liked an English music channel and possibly anEnglish film channel to relax to, after a busy time exploring the City.We were very pleasantly surprised by how nice the City is. Having a slide from the resturant area down to the lobby bar was an amusing touch.My only problem was that I could not open a windo as I like fresh airin my room. i was disappointed that the mini bar wasn't free bearing in mind the nightly rate. a couple of notices about how the switches in the room worked and the power shower would have been useful. Disappointed that satellite tv only provided 2 news programmes in English.electronic key room...it didn't work different time...little bit annoying. no bar and no pool. it excelled in every other area. Limited number of TV channels offering good reception. Could not lower room temp below 21c. Asked for advice and was told to switch off and open window. We could do this because one window was already unlocked. We did not have a key to relock it or unlock the other window locks. Room was still warm even after leaving window open for several hours. Had to leave it open, which meant some street noise and also could not lower the automatic window blind. one suggestion is minimal improvement needed to the the in room housekeeping (more specifically the floors). Rooms not well sound-proofed; very easy to hear people in the next room and in the corridors. Some Tourist Information in reception would have been helpful.You couldn't adjust the room temperature because it was set for winter mode (=heating only), so we couldn't sleep at all, it was really hot there. breakfast was often cold. Kettle with complementary coffee, tea in room. Would stay again if I got similar Competive rate.
