  Good location near the Palaces, Opera and Plaza Mayor but on a quietish side street. Good sized pleasant room. Worth going to for the amazing breakfast selection alone. - The staff was very friendly and helpful. Absolutely perfect location if you want to do sigh seeings. Close to variouse restaurants and pub.

  Last summer I stayed for the first time at Axor Barajas both for business (The University of Arizona, USA) and pleasure (Family European vacation) I can't say enough of the quality for the price.....it is a bargain. Be sure this is the one hotel I will recommend to fam - We stayed at the Axor for one night before our flight home after touring around Spain. Super modern hotel very close to the airport. We must have been upgraded, because our soom was huge. We had a whole studio with a sleek bathroom.The shuttle was excellent. We used it from the airport after dropping off our rental car and then the next morning back to the airport for our flight.

  Great central location, very funky and trendy hotel but with lots of little extras finishing touches that made it a really special place to stay.   A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time. You need to go to the sister hotel next door for real food.... what people say » This one, decorated in ultra modern, has vending machines for snacks and umpteen types of coffee. There is a huge mall about four blocks away with mo - This hotel was located very near the airport and has a great shuttle service. Also a 5 minute walk and you are at a bus stop that takes you to the metro station. The rooms were very clean, the hotel smelled wonderful and the breakfast was good. We stayed there our 1st night in Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from downtown Madrid to the hotel.
