The bathroom was the nicest one we have ever had in Europe. They also had a nice lounge and bar upstairs. The location was fabulous, metro stops very conveniently located to the hotel

Our view from the window was of three walls around a total of 6 square feet.

If you want a downtown location in the heart of the city this this is an excellent place to be. The hotel is small but very clean and tidy. They provide a free welcome drink in the roof top terrace. There are electric shutters on each windows to stop light and also reduce street noise. Hotel and rooms are very clean. Staff were fine. Overall, nothing exceptional but it served its purpose well enough.

I was on the 7th floor facing Gran Via. There was some noise that entered the room from someone playing the trumpet (!) on the main road but it wasn't something that would stop me sleeping. However, if you're a light sleeper it would be worth staying away from a room facing the main road.

Very thin walls. You can hear everything going on next door or people walking down the hall way. Not nice if you are going to stay four nights like we did...

Staff is very friendly. they are happy to help you. nice location and if you close the windows there is no noise from outside. good internet connection.

Very friendly staff. liked the roof terrace very comfortable great views excellent breakfast-graet selection great shopping outside the front door and close to everything

The bar was not great as it was on the top floor and very few guests frequented it. could provide more English speaking channels coutessy bus did not operate after certain hours so cost us €40 to get a taxi to hotel from airport.

Location is excellent, breakfast is excellent and they have a free transfer bus from the airport to the hotel, free wifi too

The transfer bus driver will expect a tip - so make sure you have some euro coins easily accessible! (Not so much a 'didn't like' as a handy tip!)

Reception was very friendly and efficient. Rooms and lounge areas were beautifully decorated. Bathroom was fabulous. Although no teasmade in room the hotel provided free of charge pots of tea in the lounge areas. Location could not be better. Handy for everything.

Newly renovated hotel in beautiful historical building, located conventiently in walking distance to many attractions of Madrid. Tasteful interior. Great roof top terrace / lounge.

Rooms are a bit noisy due to the location on a busy street. Also noise from the corridor could be heared.

Helpful staff, comfortable well equipped rooms and excellent noise insulation. Very enjoyable terrace bar. Great breakfast bar.

This hotel is excellent! We were 2 girls travelling together and felt very safe in the area. The hotel room was spotless and so comfy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing Grand Via. We loved seeing the action, but when we didn't want to hear or see it, the blackout blinds and sound proofed windows worked perfectly! The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations and providing directions. The rooftop patio was excellent for relaxing with a drink after a long day of sightseeing. I can't say enough good things - wonderful hotel that helped make our stay in Madrid perfect!

Hard to beat the location, right in the center of downtown. Near metro, shopping, restaurants, bars and clubs. Small but lovely roof deck. Reasonable fixed priced breakfast with large variety of food including espresso and drinks and mimosas.

Everything was great. Best value for money for a luxury hotel.

I think they could change the airport shuttle which looked rather dodgy and raised initial suspicious about the hotel. Luckily the hotel was really good.

Unbelievable value for the money. Large rooms, with a sitting area, 2 part bathroom with double sinks. Fabulous rooftop deck with multiple spacious common rooftop lounge areas with many couches. A bar is available but not necessary to use. Also an outside area with city views.
