the location was great. The shower seemed like it had and endless amount of hot water! The staff was very helpful, especially since my spanish is very poor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent location for the city centre. It was very clean and it's right in the middle of the city, there's a train station right around the corner and lots of bars, clubs, and restaurants. centre location, puerta del sol. in the bar and clubs section. close to metro sol. clean. club downstairs was great fun!. location. A bit noisy, with the nightclub downstairs and some noisy guests, but not enough to spoil our stay. I found it very strange that the hotel staff did not speak any English. And on Saturday nights I don't think anyone in the hotel could sleep until 4-5 in the morning due to a bar downstairs.some rooms smelled of smoke. Difficult to open front door so guests pressed door bell late at night for the porter - making it hard to get sleep. shower hose was broken. bed sheets not thoroughly cleaned. a lot of noise,just near a night club ,noise since ooh to 6h in the morning. Some people might be bothered by the noise - very noisy until 4 / 5 / 6am, as it is above a salsa club. Do not stay here is you want sleep!Although I had ear plugs with me, so I wasn't too bothered!. The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbours' conversations. The windows in our room faced the yard but still we heard the noise from the street rather loudly.The fact it was above a night club that was still playing very loud music at 5am in the morning when I had to leave for the airport. The room we had was at the front of the hotel which was unfortunatelyabove a nightclub so very noisy. incredibly noisy at night because of the central location and many bars and restaurants exactly underneath. little hot water, lively area, low standard of the rooms. Too may noise form out side. Hard to find the door of Hotel. Location over a loud restaurant.When we first arrived we found it hard to locate and it is above a nightclub that opned at midnight and went on until six in the morning ,veryloud music all night. Make sure you stay out late and have a few drinksbefore bed!. Small room and a bit noisy (disco-bar downstair) but for the price you can't expect more.The noise from the clubs just under the rooms make silency impossible until 06.00. Both heat and noise Isolation are weak. Consider using an earplug to enjoy this hotel's great location. Also the beds are not very comfortable. The hotel was on top of a disco that went on til 6am! there was nothing to indicate this was to be the case.We got no sleep so checked out next day. The price, the facilities. yes, a lot of loud sound, voices in the middle of night, we didn't have phone in the room, the floor was broken, they were fixing things in the room next to mine and they made a lot of sound.No Hot Water, No Water Pressure, then eventually no water. Towels grubby and old. 5am nightclub downstairs, walking through a construction site to get into the hostel.Staff pretended to be suprised at the lack of water facilities, judging by the rest of the comments, they knew all about it and didn't offer any compensation. Very Noisy.
