Only negative was that if you wanted room made they requested you leave the key in door. Dont think system very secure.
Convenient location. Near subway, many cafes, shops. Excellent price. The friendly staff. The room was cleaned every day. The hotel is located on a busy street. People walk day and night. This hotel is not suitable for privacy.

Simply the Best. Situated in the centr. Very helpful and kind staff. Cleen and comfort rooms. Street view is awesome. Don't be afraid of noise, good windows eliminate it. We lived on 2nd floor. Super.

I did like the location, which was wonderful. Besides, the staff was very kind and always willing to help. The accommodations were ok and we had the luck to be in a room where there was no noisy.
Nothing really, everything was ok. I stayed only one night and it served our purposes all right, since the location was perfect.
A special acknowledgement to Patricia & Alvaro, who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is excellent and I was not disturbed by the city noise at all, in fact, found it exciting to reach the front door and know life was going on.

The rooms are a bit small however that's what you get for the meager sum you pay to book this hotel. Needless to mention that though the rooms are small, they are still very very cosy!
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, 24h reception. Rooms were small but cosy, and with plenty of space to put your luggage/stuff, big tables (if you want to use your laptop etc), minifridge. With the windows closed there is no problem with the noise from the busy street on which it is located.

Nothing to dislike
The personal it´s very kind and friendly, and they were always very helpful, specially the owner of the hotel. He always very willing to help and advise me to move more easily around the city. The hotel's location is excellent, just 3 minutes walk from the metro station Sol and just 1 min. Walk from metro Opera. It´s very clean, and some rooms have a excellent view of one of the most important streets downtown.
Jus´t sometimes the wifi conexion it was a little bit slow.
The staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Excellent location for sightseeing.
The rooms are noisy.
Hostal Ivor gave us this "homey" feel when we stayed there. The location was perfect. it was a very under rated 2 star hostal. If I'll be lucky to visit Madrid again, I'll choose the same hostal.

- Very noisy, you could hear everything from the hallway. No noise from outside though. - Night watch guy seemed to be Skyping or talking long after midnight, which was so loud we couldn't sleep.
