The hotel is 5 minutes by car to the Madrid airport. The hotel has a free shuttle service. When you call the hotel on arrival, they promptly come to pick you up. We stayed here for just one night as we had to catch an early morning plane. This hotel was ideal for this purpose. The hotel rooms are very nice. They stock up complimentary soft drinks in the room mini bar which is a nice touch. Very helpful staff, great location, lots of restaurants, bars, cash points within a minute or so's walk. Coffee and pre-packed cakes / pastries available free while we waited for the free shuttle bus. Room clean and comfortable. Can't say anything negative about our stay, we only stayed there on our last night in Madrid as had very early flight in the morning, we would stay again.all reviews »
Due to a heavily delayed flight I arrived at 2AM in the morning. I telephoned for the shuttle which arrived in less than 10 minutes and I was in my room and checked in a few minutes after. A very positive experience, friendly and efficient staff, excellent rooms and a great breakfast - couldn't ask for more. Great hotel, LetsBookHotel.com offered much lower price for it. It is close to the airport, so the location is far from central but otherwise the room was very clean and comfortable, very friendly professionally well trained stuff. Pick up service from the airport works perfectly.Most of the staff, especially the front desk staff, were outstanding. The 3 lobby bar staff, however, were terrible - rude, poor service - you should not have these 3 people in a position where they reflect so badly on an otherwise excellent experience. I love this place! There is free airport shuttle, the buffet dinner is cheap and good quality and the room is clean. One boon is that there is complimentary drinks in minibar.. The free shuttle service and convenient location to the airport worked out ell for our one night stay before renting a car and moving on.No, everything was nice. By the way, the included breakfast was superb too. The lobby bar staff ignored us, were rude when they finally acknowledged our presence. Before they even asked us if we wanted anything, they spent 10 minutes cleaning the coffee machine with their backs turned to us, and then saw some friends of theirs, and talked to them until we had to interrupt their conversation and ask for service. only thing is that it will be nice if they have an additional set of glass for drinking.. Wish you had a gym or athletic facility.I did not like the restorant (not buffet) because of the high prices and small portions. The shower in room 504 did not function correctly, the temperature of the water constantly changing from hot to cold. hard to find from the Barajas metro station. The room was a bit small, but given all the positives it really did not matter.It was a shame there was no 'proper' minibar with a couple of beers and snacks etc. my pasta i ordered from room service was somewhat cold. I could not get an answer on the telephone to arrange a pick-up from the Airport. It would have been good to be able to have some form of meal on arrival before midnight.No negatives. Would recommend to others and stay there again.
