The apartments are situated in an excellent position between two main metro stations. We found the location brilliant, only ten minutes walk to the Gran Via. Although there was noise from the front bedrooms it was nothing unusual than you would expect from a capital city. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The apartments fantastic. Comfortable and spacious. everything!! it was a great apartment, superfriendly people , clean and great location, everything was there, towels etc, even some showercream! we had a great time with 5 friends, even the bars in the area are good fun!!. all reviews »
Spacious modern 2 bed apartment with all amenitiies including free wifi connection and large kitchen and lounge. Close to tube stop, I would look to stay again on return. Great apartment, spacious and clean. Great location, good local ammenties - 100m from Metro. Staff friendly and helpful, apartments spotless, very convenient location. The position. The apartment was immaculate, very clean, with all the facilites e.g kitchen with every utensil you may need, bathroom very clean, hairdryer, iron, ironing board. Lovely and bright apartment and convenient location for sightseeing. Shop opposite to buy groceries. Feel like home. There is big refrigrator, microwave, washing machine, tumble machine, big oven...everything you can think about...well located, nice and comfortable apartment. Clean, new, lots of space. I liked the fact that nobody was barging in ontop of you to clean your room. The Apt are very central to everything which was fantastic. Good location for Metro and shopping/eating. Staff were friendly and obliging. The main reason I chose to stay at Apodaca was that friends of mine were already there, and we wanted to meet up for one evening. the location. Taxi had difficulty finding on arrival. Found it noisy in the evening. One night 6 men from the aparts could not get in, they were very drunk and were pressing doorbells at 4am, this went on for one and a half hours and became abusive. Police did nothing but drive past, owner of aparts did nothing. Would still recommend the actual apartments, just luck of the drawer who your neighbours are!! We had 2 young children who were frightened!. Only shower in the bath room. I didnt like the fact that I was called 4 times from landing at the airport to getting to about 50ft of the hotel with the guy wanting to know "Where I was" seeing as I told them that I wouldnt be landing until 17.55 and our flight was delayed... I reckon he had somewhere else that he needed to be!!. the outside was very scary, but once we saw the room we were very happy. No service at all. You have to do everything by yourself. There is no permanent reception. You have to speak to the owner by cell phone . He is not always available to hear you.The only noise was from the neighbors, and not from the street. But was in the limit of acceptable. - Some items as iron was not awailable in the appartment. The front door, it is awful, it needs some face lift. If you have children , do not let them watch TV allone ,if you know what I mean!!!!!. The refridgerator had not been used, and did not smell good. It was not possible closing bedrooms' windows during the night and the lights came in really early in the morning. We need to go to the offices to take the keys of the apartment...it would have been nice to find them directly there in order not to lose more time.

The Chueca district, famed for its frenetic nightlife, and the main shopping boulevard of Gran Vía are all within 800 metres of the property. Puerta del Sol is a little further on from Gran Vía and represents the centre point of the country and the heart of the city. All around are tapas bars, where you can enjoy a fine red wine with the local ‘Madrileños’.
Travelling information
By Metro:
Take line 8 (pink) to Nuevos Ministerios. Change onto line 10 (blue) and head in the direction of Puerta del Sur. Get off at Tribunal station. Take the exit (‘Salida’) marked ‘C/Barceló’ and turn left onto Calle de Churruca. Continue straight and the office is located at the next junction with Calle Apodaca, on the left-had side.
