  It was right in the middle of the city and herself was delighted as it was on one of the main streets with all the famous Spanish retailers.   The Ciutat Vella was perfect, The staff were friendly and very helpful, i especially like the fact that they have a fridge full of bottled water in reception and you can just help yourself, There is free internet and you can print off anything you require free of charge.   We stayed at the hotel on the last weekend of our honeymoon, I had mentioned it was our honeymoon on the reservation but not upon arrival. They had a Cava (bottle of Catalonia's sparkling wine) with chocolate covered strawberries in our room waiting for us. The staff are very friendly and willing to help, wherever required. The rooms are well appointed, extremely comfortable and clean. There's a great roof top bar area with a small plunge pool to cool off. Lastly, the location is fabulous. Only a few minutes walk to La Ramblas. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
