The decor is Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware and has a very comfortable and hip feel. Our room was on the second floor and had double doors that opened to a false balcony that overlooked the busy street. We had two comfortable leather chairs and a coffee table. The beds were also large and comfy. White beadboard covered the walls and there were pegs to hang things. The room and the bathroom were very clean. All days the towels were changed. It's perfect for people who wants to visit the city and needs only of a place for sleep. The lady of the reception gave to me the keys of the room and of the main entrance so I could enter in the hostel when I want without ring the bell of the hostel. -

The location is great. The value is great. Your really cant complain too much when it's about 30 euros a night in this location. Facility is a bit outdated, but it is cheaper and yet still a lot better and more comfortable than most hostels in Europe of that price range. It is clean for the most part and staff is friendly. We got a three people room for 30 a night.

our studio (room 5F) was on the 5th floor at the back of the hotel.
room was ideal plenty of room, bed comfortable, good storage space. kitchen area ideal, bathroom clean and tidy.
i would definitely use the hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

I'm a single female on a budget and this was a great find in Madrid- a great alternative to staying in a hostal. Location was walking distance to all the main areas. I only had to take the metro to/from the airport. The place is family run and they stay right on property. The owner was very helpful. He did not speak English, but we were able communicate anyway.
